Parish Council minutes: September 2012

On Monday 10th September, I attended the Parish Council's monthly meeting.

Since then I have reported on some of the issues raised at the meeting, including the Parish Council discussions about employing an apprentice, progress on the transfer of the allotments and the new medical centre which is due to open in 2014.

Other issues discussed included a request for a meeting with the Parish Council to discuss a potential country park being built on Green Belt land between Alderley Edge and Wilmslow, in return for permission to build houses on land to the north of Heyes Lane.

The minutes of this month's Parish Council meetings are now available, click here to read about all the local issues discussed.

The Alderley Edge Parish Council meet once a month in the Council Chamber at the Festival Hall. All meetings are open to the public and the next Parish Council meeting will be held on Monday 15th October. Agendas for the forthcoming meetings can be found in our events section a few days prior to each meeting.
