Following the dissolution of the Artisan Market partnership the former business partners have met with Wilmslow Town Council to agree a solution, to enable the markets to continue without any interruptions.

Cllr Keith Purdom, Chairman of Wilmslow Town Council, said "There will be complete continuity, all the dates in the diary will be honoured and I don't think anyone will notice any difference.

"We were concerned about what was going on and we are very pleased to have such a fast and sensible solution.

"The previous organisers really put us on the map with the Artisan Market so it is great there are no hiccups and we are going forward smoothly."

Denise Valente, director of Valente Market Company Ltd, will deliver the Wilmslow Artisan Market moving forward.

Denise commented "The original concept for the Wilmslow Artisan Market was to reinvigorate our town, bringing vitality and buzz back to the high street. Enticing residents to visit and use their town once more. The ongoing development of this event will ensure that I continue with my original aims and deliver an outstanding monthly event for Wilmslow.

"Wilmslow is the flagship of all markets, and I am very much looking forward to working closely with Wilmslow Town Council and the Wilmslow Business Group to develop the event ensuring it is the cornerstone to other town centre events like the Wilmslow Show, the Motor Show and the Music Festival.

"As ever, I have great plans for the forthcoming event on Easter Sunday, 20th April – which will have a very special Easter theme and lots of exciting activities for all the family to enjoy. There will also be some novel (must see) additions to the day which will be revealed over the next few weeks.

"It is going to be a wonderful Sunday – bring your friends & family for a very special Easter weekend."
