A secret garden

Judith and Stephen Napper opened up their private Bluebell wood over the weekend to raise money for St Philip and St James' Church.

This beautiful wood is an idyllic and an enchanted place that nestles beneath the edge.

By opening up their garden they are sharing their secret that was once shared amongst friends and family, now to local people, allowing the truly beautiful garden to be noticed and used.

"The idea came from the Church" said Judith, "we were all given £5 and asked to think of a way to increase the money."

This is the first time the Garden has been open to the public, but everyone seemed to have a great day!

Judith said "i used to play in the wood as a child little knowing I would one day own it and having other people enjoy it seems the best way to appreciate it!"

It truly is magnificent and a real treasure. I had a great time exploring the somewhat enchanted Bluebell forest.

Judith and Stephen Napper managed to raise funds for the church which is fantastic!
