
Filming for the second series of ITV Drama After the Flood has been taking place at The Edge this week.
Crews were at the National Trust site for filming of the ITV drama which is produced by Manchester-based Quay Street Productions, as part of ITV studios, who were also behind Harlan Coben's hugely successful Netflix series Fool Me Once which was also shot in Alderley Edge.
Alun Armstrong, Jill Halfpenny, Ian Puleston-Davies and Matthew McNulty join the cast for series two. Previously announced returning cast include Sophie Rundle, Nicholas Gleaves, Lorraine Ashbourne, Philip Glenister, and Matt Stokoe.
Filming for the second season of the six-part thriller, finds newly promoted detective Jo Marshall (Sophie Rundle) on the trail of a baffling new murder investigation, is being filmed in Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Derbyshire for ITV and BritBox.
