Fire and rescue crews have attended the scene of a small house fire on Heywood Road in Alderley Edge this morning.
Firefighters from Wilmslow and Knutsford attended the incident just after 10am. An industrial-sized fan was used by firefighters to clear smoke from the property.
One person has been taken to hospital, as a precaution, due to smoke inhalation.
A fire engine remains on the scene and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
