The winner of the 2011 Alderley Edge Adventure has received a £50 gift voucher from organisers Knights solicitors.
Phoebe Hutton, from Alderley Edge, was awarded her prize by Charles Jones, Senior partner at Knights LLP.
This new Christmas event involved 24 local businesses, each of whom decorated their window in a theme of their own choice, incorporating their number so local families could walk around the village seeking the 24 days of advent.
Local artist Allie Pottinger painted a festive map of Alderley Edge to guide families on their search.
Charles Jones, Senior Partner at Knights solicitors, said "We have had a very good response in both entries and feedback from residents and business owners all stating that they thoroughly enjoyed the event and how much they had enjoyed exploring the village and finding the numbers.
"We have also received feedback from business owners reporting that they have noticed the many people visiting their businesses as a consequence of the event.
"From our own perspective we have thoroughly enjoyed the additional involvement in the community that the event has produced and have felt, as we had hoped would be the case, that this has been an excellent vehicle for emphasising our own core values as a business which is very much community based.
"We hope to be able to repeat this or a similar project at Christmas time in 2012."
