The Alderley Edge Community Primary School Choir, conducted by Mrs Jo Murray, are in great demand at this time of year.

They sang a seasonal selection of songs at the St Philip's Church Mothers Union Christmas party recently. They will also be performing in the entrance area at Marks and Spencer and Tesco at Handforth Dean on Thursday, 15th December, at 5.30pm in aid of Francis House Children's Hospice. Local residents are invited to go along and enjoy their performance.

The Choir are also busy preparing to perform at the MEN arena in January where they will be joining over 6000 children from across North West England.

Chris Perry (Headteacher) said "We were delighted to be invited to sing at St Philip's Church rooms last week. The children, as always, sang beautifully and I am sure helped those listening to really get in the Christmas spirit."
