An Alderley Edge singer and songwriter has just released her debut EP 'Made for Me'.
Demonstrating soul, jazz and blues influences, Madelaine Moore combines strong brass riffs and rich vocal harmonies to create her signature sound.
The singer has spent the last couple of years writing and recording her album 'Can't Let It Go' which is due for release next summer. "It has been a memorable year", says Madelaine. "I was in and out of the studio, recording and producing my tracks and renovating a house, whilst pregnant with my daughter".
Madelaine lives in the village with her husband Stephen Moore, the opening batsman for Lancashire County Cricket Club, whose team recently won the LV County Championship for the first time in 77 years.
Madelaine said "It has been such an exciting end to the year. We had our daughter Emilia Alys on 1st September during one of the final games of the season and then two weeks later, Lancashire had won the Championship. It's been crazy but a very special time."
Whilst adapting to her new role as a mother, Madelaine has been putting the final touches on her EP, which will preview three tracks from the forthcoming album.
The EP 'Made for Me' is available for download on iTunes and Amazon as well as for purchase through her website www.madelainemoore.com.
