Cancer Research UK is celebrating 25 years in the village.
To mark the occasion, The Bubble Room played host to a party on Friday, 20th May, for the whole team of 25 volunteers, including two of the original volunteers.
Gwen Johnson and Joyce Clements, who have been working at the shop since it opened, joined in the celebrations which recognised their 25 years of loyal service.
During the past 25 years the London Road charity shop has raised a very impressive £2.1 million for Cancer Research.
Helen Gaughan, who has managed the shop for the past 10 years, said "Thank you to everyone in the community for supporting us whether they are volunteers, customers or donators.
"We're always looking for stock and new volunteers to join our team."
