The PR Station in Alderley Edge is celebrating after taking on its first client just a few weeks after it opened for business.

The new agency on Stevens Street will be working with Warrington-based MumPanel, a specialist mum marketing consultancy, helping to build the company's profile among the UK's leading brands – in particular those looking to engage with mums. The brief also includes growing the network of 'mum panelists' signed up to the company.

The account will be led by The PR Station's founder Rachael Tilling, who has 15 years' experience in the industry. Rachael has an impressive CV working at a senior level for brands such as Orange, Airbus and leading PR and media agencies including London's Paragon Communications and HBL Media.

Tilling (pictured) said: "We're really excited to take on MumPanel as our first client, they're doing some excellent work and we'll be promoting that nationally to brands who want to engage more effectively with mums."

She continued: "I've been in the PR and marketing industry for many years, both here in the UK and abroad, and understand what customers are looking for from their agency. We'll be offering big agency expertise at smaller agency prices, with the added flexibility and accountability that comes from being a smaller set-up. We're also offering one of the only results-based billing services in the UK, for those who want to try PR before committing to an ongoing contract.

"South Manchester is a great location for us, with some fantastic businesses around here and a superb transport network. We hope some of the local businesses will be interested in talking to us, as PR is a very cost effective way for them to reach, engage with and influence their target audience, and we'll certainly deliver some of the finest results for them" she said.
