The King's School's Trampoline Squad has hit the heights with a record-breaking six teams winning gold at the British Schools' Championships.
As King's hugely popular coach Rachael Burrows said: "I am incredibly proud of the these young men and women. It was a day of exceptional performances, remarkable composure under pressure, and true sportsmanship, with every single one of our teams finishing in the top four in the country - an astonishing accomplishment.
"We had an unprecedented six teams crowned national champions in their respective categories, a testament to the talent, hard work, and dedication of our young athletes.
"A particularly special moment came when our Year 1-6 Novice Girls team secured 1st place, finishing ahead of HRH Princess Charlotte's team, who took second. Our pupils felt incredibly excited to compete alongside her.
"Adding to this success, the brilliant Trixie Russell delivered a phenomenal individual performance to become national champion in the same category, overcoming immense competition with composure and skill.
The Year 7-9 Elite Girls team also claimed the national title in the highest-level category at the event, demonstrating their incredible ability and resilience under pressure.
"Alongside these victories, our other national team titles were won by: Year 1-6 Intermediate Girls; Year 7-9 Advanced and Intermediate Girls and the Year 7-9 Advanced Boys. This level of consistency across multiple categories is nothing short of phenomenal, with Tilly Fox and Lily Hardcastle scoring within the 9s for execution.
"Our athletes continue to handle the pressure of national competition with incredible maturity, proving themselves time and time again on the biggest stage.
"Beyond our champions, our other teams also excelled, finishing 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the country - a remarkable feat that showcases the depth of talent at The King's School. Our pupils conducted themselves with impeccable behaviour and sportsmanship, representing the school in the best possible way."
