Alderley Edge Parish Council is marking 80 years since Victory in Europe Day with a Big Band Dance at the Festival Hall on Sunday May 4th from 3pm to 6pm.
The celebration will take you back to the swinging sounds of the 2940s, featuring live music, dancing and a nostalgic atmosphere to honour the historic occasion.
Guests can enjoy light refreshments, including in the ticket price of £10 per person.
Councillor Vince Fogharty said "Last year's successful D-Day 80 celebration sold out quickly, so don't miss your chance to be part of this memorable day! Whether you love big band music, dancing, or just want to soak up the wartime spirit this is an event for all ages to enjoy."
He added "So let's once again come together as a community to celebrate, remember and dance the afternoon away in true 1940s style!"
