A new Pan Asian restaurant is preparing to open on London Road.
Peppery Rose will be located at 7 London Road, which has been vacant for long periods in recent years.
The premises were most recently occupied by Dizzy Dough, which closed in November 2023, and prior to that by Les Deux pizza restaurant and The Railway Cafe, which served Indian-inspired dishes.
One of the owners, Hung told me "Our food and drinks will be around Asia such as Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Thai and Singaporean etc.
"Do you remember The Alderley Rose from many years ago? It was our uncle's restaurant and we are the next generation. That is the reason we are called the Peppery Rose. Nice to be back!
"Our restaurant popular signature dishes will be around 'Pepper'."
The plan is to open Peppery Rose in November with a takeaway and delivery service to follow.
Hung added "We are so excited to be opening up in Alderley Edge soon. "We will provide our locals and families with good food, good drinks and good atmosphere."
