A decision is due on plans for a new offices and laboratory buildings at Alderley Park in Nether Alderley this week.
Outline planning permission is being sought for the demolition of buildings and site clearance for the development of two separate, but adjacent sites, fairly centrally located within the Mereside (commercial) area of Alderley Park. Each site would contain a building for life science uses comprising office/laboratories along with retail and café provision - with all matters reserved including (access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale).
The planning officer is recommending the plans for approval at the Strategic Planning Board meeting on Wednesday, 1st March, stating "The application proposes life science development that the re-purposed Alderley Park was set up to encourage and is fully supported."
