The talented young company at TEMPO will be back in the Evans theatre next month to perform Footloose the Musical based on the 1984 film which became one of the most successful dance films.
Footloose takes us to small town USA in the 1980's and tells the story of dance loving Ren McCormack who moves from Chicago to the southern town of Bomont where public dancing and loud music are banned for young people. Ren soon wins over the hearts of his new friends and the community, and they come together to bring dancing and music back to the town for everyone to enjoy once more.
Alison Bisset, TEMPO's Chairman told us "All of our cast have thoroughly enjoyed rehearsing for Footloose this year, they can't wait till opening night, the excitement is really building! I am sure our audiences will love Footloose it as much as they will love performing it, so why not .... 'Cut loose, kick off your Sunday shoes' and enjoy the show!"
