A fire crew were called to a car fire on the Alderley Edge bypass in the early hours of this morning (Monday, 7th November).
They arrived at Melrose Way in Nether Alderley shortly before 5am where a saloon car was well alight.
Firefighters in breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to tackle the blaze. A foam extinguisher was also used. Once the fire was out crews dampened down the area
A spokesperson said "Cheshire Police were informed as it is believed the fire may have started following a road traffic collision and the vehicle was unattended."
