Primary school's new multi-use games area is finally complete

MUGA completed

Alderley Edge Community Primary School are delighted that, after years of planning, their multi-use games area is now fully completed and ready to be enjoyed by their current pupils and generations of children to come, as well as the wider community.

The new artificial grass sports pitch on the school playing field will provide a space for all-year round play and sporting activities for the children, irrespective of the weather. The pitch will also have markings for different sports and the additional facilities.

Mrs Walsh, head teacher, said "We want to extend our warmest and most sincere thanks to all individuals and groups that have enabled this amazing project to finally come into fruition.

"Without the support of everyone we would not have been able to offer our children this state of the art sporting facility. It would be fantastic to be able to thank everyone in person at our opening ceremony."

A short opening ceremony will be held on Wednesday 20th July at 9am which will be followed by the school's annual sports day.
