Firefighters have completed an investigation into a huge property which ripped through a detached house on Wilmslow Road in the early hours of Friday, 25th February.
A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service service confirmed the blaze started accidentally, probably due to an electrical fault.
Fire crews from Poynton, Wilmslow, Lymm, Bollington, Warrington, Macclesfield, Knutsford and two from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, along with relief crews from Middlewich, Northwich and Sandbach, raced to the incident at 2.21am on Friday, 28th February.
Eight fire engines and the aerial ladder platform attended the scene and crews used five main jets to tackle the huge blaze. Everybody from the property was accounted for and unharmed.
