Police are requesting witnesses following an unprovoked assault and criminal damage which occurred on Beech Road at the weekend.
Officers were called to the incident at around 8pm on Saturday 22nd January. The caller reported that at around 7.45pm that night they heard a loud noise outside their home on Beech Road.
Upon opening the door they discovered that three men were deliberately damaging a silver Vauxhall Zafira which was parked outside the property.
The victims, a 17-year-old girl and a 49-year-old woman, confronted the group and were subsequently assaulted.
The pair did not require hospital treatment but were left shaken as a result of their ordeal.
