An elderly man from Alderley Edge has died in hospital following a crash in the village on Thursday, 1st April.
Officers are appealing for information following the collision which occurred around 3.30pm when a white Peugeot car and collided with a wall on Davey Lane.
The driver of the vehicle, an 84-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Sadly, the man died a short time later.
His next of kin have been informed.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have any dashcam footage of the vehicles before the incident to come forward.
