CHAW Primary Care Network, which covers Chelford, Handforth, Alderley Edge and Wilmslow, completed the administration of its fifth consignment of Pfizer-Biontech Covid vaccinations on Wednesday 24th February with approximately 1,200 vaccines delivered since the previous morning.
The five GP surgeries that make up CHAW PCN have worked together to deliver over 11,100 doses of vaccines since the beginning of January.
Dr Amar Ahmed, Partner at Wilmslow Health Centre, said "GP surgeries in Chelford, Handforth, Alderley Edge and Wilmslow will continue to receive vaccine deliveries over the coming weeks and are making great progress in delivering vaccine protection to all their registered patients.
"Currently surgeries continue to vaccinate patients in Cohort 6 (those aged 16-64 with underlying health conditions) and will move on to Cohort 7 (all those 60 years of age and over) as soon as supplies of vaccine allow."
