Plans for new Wilmslow restaurant approved

Plans to merge two units in Wilmslow town centre to create a single restaurant have been approved.

The owners of Cibo on Green Lane have been granted planning permission to combine 31 and 33 Grove Street into a single property and change the use from retail to restaurant/cafe.

At present 31 Grove Street is trading as Holland and Barrett and 33 Grove Street is a vacant retail unit, most recently occupied by TUI travel agency.

Both buildings adjoin the Cibo restaurant on Green Lane and share a common corridor.

The new restaurant, which will trade independantly from Cibo with different operating hours, will be accessed from Grove Street whilst servicing of the new premises will be from Green Lane, via the common access corridor.

Cibo which will continue to be accessed from Green Lane.
