Alderley Road to close for drainage investigation

Alderley Road will be closed for two days next week to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out a drainage investigation.

The road will be from the Harden Park Roundabout to Fulshaw Cross Roundabout on Monday 14th December and Tuesday 15th December.

The alternative route will be via Wilmslow Road, Brook Lane and Knutsford Road.

Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times. Cyclists will be required to dismount in order for access to maintained. Vehicular access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents where possible.

This seems to be an annual event now.

Perhaps we could arrange for one of the Real Housewives of Cheshire to cut the ribbon if a new drain is installed.

Please do not try to drive through Fulshaw Park South/Fulshaw Park. It will be closed.

Am I correct to believe that this is the (at least) third time?
If so, do we only get an investigation, not actual works; only asking.
