Two men charged with drugs offences in Wilmslow and Alderley Edge

Two people have been charged with drugs offences in Wilmslow and Alderley Edge.

A warrant was executed at an address in Heywood Close in Alderley Edge on the morning of 25th September and another warrant was executed at an address in Barlow Road, Wilmslow, on the morning of 30th September.

A 26-year-old man was arrested at the Alderley Edge address and he has subsequently been charged with being concerned in the production of Class B drugs (Cannabis) and being concerned in the acquisition of criminal property.

Basri Hallaci, of Heywood Close, Alderley Edge, appeared at Crewe Magistrates' Court on 26th September and was remanded in custody. He will next appear at Chester Crown Court on 23rd October.

A 21-year-old man was arrested at the address in Wilmslow and was later charged with producing a Class B drug (cannabis). Redi Allaj, of no fixed address, appeared at North Cheshire Magistrates' on 1st October. He was remanded into custody and will appear at Chester Crown Court on 29th October
