New development for early years children at Alderley Edge School for Girls

Promotional Feature

Alderley Edge School for Girls is delighted with the transformation of its Early Years Department and a new playground provision, which has been installed over the Summer period.

The School now benefits from newly developed classroom areas for its youngest children in the Nursery and Pre-School and an outside area which offers a multitude of new activities for all girls in the Junior School. The school was keen to provide a fabulous outdoor environment as an extension of the classroom and to enable all girls in the Junior School to explore and develop. The new areas include bridges, sandpits, wooden pergolas, sheds, a chalkboard, whiteboard, a boat and benched seating in addition to wetpour surfacing which is safe for walking and playing on, whatever the weather.

Mrs Thomaides, Head of Early Years said, "We're absolutely delighted to see the project come to fruition and to see the girls enjoying the new facilities, it looks fantastic and we know the girls will benefit from the activities and equipment for years to come".

If you would like to see the new first-class provision, arrange a visit or Taster Session in our Early Years Department, please email Janet Foundly or call her on 01625 583028 ext. 203.
