Teacher braves the shave to raise over £5000 for charity

Before and After

A teacher from Alderley Edge School for Girls has had her head shaved today (Tuesday, 27th March) to raise money for Child Bereavement UK.

Mrs Bains agreed to have her hair shaved off in the Junior School Assembly this morning if she managed to raised over £1000.

She has actually raised over £5000 for Child Bereavement UK which supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any ages dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement. Every year they train more than 9,000 professionals, helping them to better understand and meet the needs of grieving families.

If you would like to support Mrs Bains's fundraising efforts than you can donate through her JustGiving page.
