Vandals have targeted the village park this week, ripping up two steel signage posts and dragging them across the grassed area and paths.
A tree was also uprooted last week which Ansa (who delivers waste and recycling services along with grounds maintenance, fleet services and street cleansing functions for Cheshire East Council) will be removing shortly.
Councillor Christine Munro said "I noticed the signs had been pulled down this morning. It must have happened sometime on Tuesday."
She added "On the positive side we've got several groups who are interested in taking care of a bed in the park, and Ansa are going to help the Alderley Edge in Bloom team redesign the beds and make the park more attractive for everyone.
"So many people are appreciative of the work we do, it is a great pity there are just a few who want to disrupt and destroy.
"However the Alderley Edge in Bloom team are a tough lot and won't be disheartened!!"

And yet again, a plea for installing cheap cctv (solar powered?).
No hope of that now. We have to show similar defiance and put it right again, and again, and again, until they get bored of it.
