Alderley Edge School for Girls mourned the death of Mr Richard Lawrence this week. A much loved and well respected Governor, Richard was instrumental in the successful merger of St Hilary’s and Mount Carmel to form Alderley Edge School for Girls.
The school's choir were extremely honoured to provide the music for his funeral held at St Oswald's Church in Brerton yesterday, Thursday 21st January.
Our thoughts are with his family, particularly his wife Chris, in their loss. Donations in memory of Richard are being made to both The British Heart Foundation and the Parkinson Society.
