Garden waste service has now resumed

The garden waste service has resumed this week.

Following the winter break the garden waste service has restarted and green bins will now be collected every fortnight.

Please check the online calendar for your first collection of 2016.

Why do you have a winter break? My experience is that there is considerable garden waste over winter, including leaves from the autumn. This year has seen such warm weather there is even more!

Here in Leicester there is no break in such service. Why does Cheshire find it so difficult to achieve?

I am surrounded by other people's trees which are unkept but no doubt have tpo.s on them!
I would prefer a stop in the Summer months from a gardening point of view
Can this be considered???
In May , June, July everything is in full bloom and the gardening calendar requires waste disposal in the winter months in preference to a full collection all Summer
