The second one day closure of Stevens Street will take place on Friday, 28th August.
The closure is to enable materials to be delivered and installed for the new development on the corner of London Road.
Once again, Stevens Street will be closed from 9am until 4pm for 100 metres from the junction with London Road.
During the road closure a two way system will be introduced on Stevens Street, for its entire length, to provide access for resdients and businesses.
To accommodate the flow of two way traffic the parking bays along Stevens Street will be suspended between 9am and 4pm.
MH Stainton have permission to close Stevens Street on 20 separate Mondays or Fridays between 13th July and 25th September, between the hours of 9am and 4pm.
