Easter Fair eggcitement!

Pupils at Alderley Edge Community Primary School and pre-school are busy working on their entries for the school's decorate an egg competition. Winners will be judged and prizes awarded at the school's Easter Fair this coming Sunday, 29th March, by Rev Ben Clowes.

All the entries will be on display at the fair and each winning entry will receive an Easter egg, with a grand prize for the best overall design.

This is the first time the school have held an Easter Fair, which has been organised by the Parent Teacher's Association to raise money for the school. Talking about the event, Chris Perry, Headteacher said, "As a community school, we are keen to encourage a community feel and we would love to invite people from the local area to join the fun and support our fundraising on Sunday."

There is plenty to keep the kids interested with an Easter trail, a bale maze, music workshop and craft activites. Meanwhile, parents can relax and enjoy a spot of shopping, real ale, a treatment at the pop-up spa or a cup of coffee. A host of edible treats are also on offer for the whole family, including Indian finger foods, wood-fired pizzas and cupcakes.

The fair runs from 2.30pm to 5pm on Sunday, 29th March, and everyone is welcome. Entry is £1 for adults and children go free.
