Harry Sexton of Alderley Edge Golf Club has won the Cheshire Boys Championship. He shot scores of 71 and 73 at Delamere Forest for a superb level par total of 144, and finished tied with two others ahead of a very high quality field. The Championship was decided on a three hole play-off, and Harry parred the extra holes to win the title.
Harry, 18, is one of a fine crop of young players at Alderley Edge Golf Club, and he will go on to represent the County in the national event for all county boys champions at Woodhall Spa in September.
