Bigger & better for Tuula

Having relocated to a more central position in the village, Tuula opened their new clothes boutique at 39 London Road today. The new store looks very stylish and provides more space for Nicki Moreton to display her refreshingly different range of both women’s and girl’s clothing. I popped down just before lunchtime and the shop was pretty busy. I was welcomed by friendly staff, offered a glass of champagne and given a 20% discount voucher to celebrate their opening. The children were even given lollipops to keep them happy whilst I browsed and tried things on. Nicki explained that the move is a result of business expansion with 4 or 5 new brands being added to her Autumn/Winter collection and an extra footwear brand being taken on board. The range will also shortly be available to purchase from their website, www.tuularetail.com which is currently under development. Whilst speaking with Nicki I also took the opportunity to enquire about the origin of the name Tuula and learnt that whilst looking for a Scandinavian name, to reflect the clothing range which is predominately from that region, Nicki decided upon Tuula, the Scandinavian name of a deceased family dog. It is great to see businesses expanding in the village. I wish Nicki and her team lots of success and if they keep an eye on the little ones whilst I shop then I’ll definitely be back.
