The first lunchtime concert of 2013 takes place on Wednesday 16th January, when Alderley Edge Methodist Church are privileged to welcome the Wolpe Trio from the Royal Northern College of Music.
The Wolpe piano trio perform as members of the RNCM external list and later this year will be performing at venues such as Buxton's Pavilion Arts Centre. The trio will also be making their Wigmore Hall debut in May as part of the Bainbridge Festival.
Their programme at Alderley Edge will comprise of three works: Joseph Haydn: Piano Trio No 25 in E minor Hob XV:12; Ludwig Van Beethoven: Piano Trio in E flat major and Dmitri Shostakovich : Piano Trio No 2 in E minor Op 67.
The recital commences at 1pm and will last approximately 45 minutes. Light lunches, charged separately, are available from 12 noon.
