A luxury train will make a rare visit to Alderley Edge later this year.
The 1930s Pullman-style train was dubbed the "Grand Duchess of luxury" by actor Bill Nighy when it was the star of a Channel 5 TV programme.
A spokesman said: "The train is a throwback to the golden days of rail travel – to an era when nothing was too good for the pampered passengers."
The Northern Belle will set out from Manchester Victoria at 11.45am on Sunday October 26th, before picking up passengers at Wilmslow at 12.25 and Alderley Edge at 12.45.
