There was 'home' success again as junior tennis players at Alderley Edge Cricket Club continued their rich vein of form with our impressive crop of talented young players winning six out of the eleven open events.
The week long tournament was open to juniors throughout the county and with the top players in attendance it only highlights just how impressive the results were, not only for our young players but also for our club.
There was triumph for Greg Johnson in the 12u boys' singles as well as Miles Pooler in the 10u boys singles, Gabrielle Young who won the 12u girls' singles and Natalya Smith the winner of the 10u girls' singles.
The six out of eleven victories rounded off not only an excellent week for Alderley Edge Tennis Club but a very successful year which we hope to build on for next season.
