
Three organised displays will be held in the village next month to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night.
Alderley Edge Community Primary School are preparing for their annual Bonfire and Firework Display which takes place on the school field.
This long established and popular village event will take place on Saturday 5th November with plenty of entertainment for all the family.
In addition to the professional firework display and bonfire there will be face painting, fairground rides and refreshments including a bar, a cake stalls and hot food and drinks will be available.
Headteacher Mr Perry said 'This is an amazing event that can be enjoyed by every member of the family from small children to their grandparents. Every year the professional firework company seem to put on a better and better display.
"This Bonfire and Firework Display is a Community Event for all families - everyone is assured of a warm and friendly welcome."

On the same evening the Drum & Monkey pub on Heyes Lane will be holding their annual firework display with an outside bar and barbecue. The event starts at 7pm and entrance is free.
On Sunday, November 6th, Alderley Edge Cricket Club will be hosting their annual fireworks display. Entertainment on offer includes barbecue, licensed bar, mulled wine, stalls and children's fairground rides.
John Berry, Manager of the cricket club, said "This is the 6th year we've run this community event and there's lots to do for all the family. It's a very popular event which usually attracts 1500 to 2000 people and everyone is welcome."

What surprised and disappointed me were the twenty or so people who chose not to conribute to the good cause on Sunday night and chose instead to stand and watch the display,bold as brass from Mottram Road above the cricket ground failing to contribute a penny. Hopefully they were casual 'visitors' to Alderley Edge rather than locals and will if they read this perhaps will have a social conscience and consider a donation .
