Plans are well underway for the Summer Soul Ball which will be held in a marquee at Alderley Edge Cricket Club on Thursday 23rd June.
The charity event is being organised by Wilmslow based Ci Research as part of their charity raising year - to celebrate their 20th year in business the company are aiming to raise £20,000 for local charities.
alderleyedge.com are delighted to be one of a number of local businesses who are supporting the event to raise funds for Francis House, Claire House and Beechwood Cancer Care Centre in Stockport.
Norman Meredith from Ci Research said "The summer ball will have the lavish ambience of a black-tie ball but with a casual twist. To guarantee that guests feel relaxed the event will be a smart/ casual affair. Think sipping Pimms on the lawn, enjoying delicious Thai food whilst listening to soul music, perhaps partaking in the auction, then dancing the night away into the early hours.
"Tickets are selling really well. We have the last few corporate tables remaining but individual bookings are still being taken. The ball will be a casual affair which isn't restricted to corporate bookings, individuals and groups are most welcome."
The event will be held on Thursday 23rd June, from 7pm till late. Tickets are £55 per person, £500 for tables of 10 or £600 for tables of 12. (£100 deposit is required for table bookings)
Norman added "The event is all about charity so if this is something you or your company would be interested in please do get in touch. There are limited spaces so please book early to avoid disappointment."
