East Cheshire Hospice is celebrating the new year by launching a new brand image which more accurately reflects the caring service it provides for local people.
The new branding, which was given an early outing by local football star and close friend of the Hospice, Ben Amos, includes bright modern colours and an eye-catching representation of the Hospice name for use on a range of materials.
The branding was designed by Macclesfield based company Through Creative, a long standing supporter of the Hospice.
Phil Robertshaw, Fundraising & Communications Manager, comments: "Many people felt our existing colours and familiar round badge didn't catch the eye and, more importantly, were rather flat and didn't at all reflect the very warm, welcoming and caring service which the Hospice provides. We really wanted a bright and eye-catching look to help us stand out and one which matches the experience which patients and their loved ones have when they are with us.
"We felt it was an appropriate time to launch the new brand as we will soon be completing the second and final phase of our building development programme which has completely transformed the Hospice. We are therefore celebrating our new look Hospice with a new and exciting brand identity. We are all delighted."
Commenting on the new look, Ben Amos said: "The new branding is really fresh and exciting, it really emphasises just how warm, and friendly the hospice really is."
However, as always the Hospice is committed to not wasting anything and so items previously produced with the old branding will continue to be used until they need replacing. Items bearing the familiar round badge will therefore remain in circulation for some time to come.
