The A535 Alderley Road in Chelford will be closed at Corbishley Railway Bridge from 7.30am until 5.30pm on both Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th November.
The road will be closed to allow Network Rail to undertake a structural inspection of Corbishley Bridge this weekend, however, the road will be open to traffic from 5.30pm on Saturday to 7.30am on Sunday.
The alternative route for traffic will be south from the bridge on the A535 Alderley Road to Chelford Roundabout, then east on the A537 to Bollington Lane, Nether Alderley. Drivers will then need to take the A34 Congleton Road to Alderley Edge and join the A535 at Ryleys Lane.
Those travelling in the opposite direction will need to go via the A34-A537 Monks Heath traffic signals instead of Bollington Lane in Nether Alderley.
