First held in 1918 and run by an enthusiastic team of volunteers, the Alderley Edge Village Show returns this year to celebrate crafts, nature, creativity and the community.
This year's show takes place on Saturday, 23rd August from 12:00pm until 4:30pm at the Festival Hall.
Organised by The Alderley Edge Village Show Association to celebrate crafts, nature, creativity and community the show is being held in aid of The Christie Charity.
Alex, Chairman, explained "The Alderley Edge Village Show is a beloved tradition that captures the very best of village life, and this year marks our 81st celebration. It's a wonderful opportunity for residents and visitors alike to come together, celebrate local culture, and showcase their talents.
"Whether you're entering an exhibit or simply coming to soak up the atmosphere, there's something for everyone. Marvel at the impressive displays—from giant vegetables and flawless flowers to stunning crafts and homemade delicacies. Take a well-earned break in our friendly café, and don't miss your chance to enter the raffle, with a range of fantastic prizes up for grabs.

There is an n array of classes including fruit & vegetables, domestic crafts, photography, cookery, flowers and under 18s.
Whether you're a first time participant or a seasoned veteran, everyone is welcome to get involved and compete for the chance to win a trophy.
Admission to the show is £2 for adults and £1 for children.
Doors open at 12 noon.
