Families in search of a fun, FREE Easter activity can head to Wilmslow town centre this April as Wilmslow's Way Better launches its Easter Trail, running from 5th to 22nd April.
Explore the town, search for hidden Easter eggs and bunnies in the shop windows and solve Easter themed puzzles for a chance to win a fantastic Easter hamper.
Whether local or visiting for the weekend, the trail offers an opportunity to experience Wilmslow from a fresh perspective and provides hours of fun for the whole family along with the chance to sample the very best of Wilmslow's high street's shops, restaurants, cafes and entertainment venues.
Wilmslow's Way Better Easter Trail - How It Works
Pick up a FREE trail map from one of the participating locations: Waitrose, Wilmslow Library, Starbucks, Unico Lounge, Buzzy Bee Bakery, or Smoke.
Set out on the adventure to find 16 Easter eggs carefully hidden in various shop windows throughout the town centre. Each Easter egg will have a picture or symbol inside it, and children are challenged to draw or write what they see in the numbered eggs on the map.
Businesses participating in the Easter hunt include Wilmslow favourites such as Buzzy Bee Bakery renowned for its amazing bakes and sweet creations, and Smoke where you can grab a bite to eat from thei fabulous brunch menu. Other participating venues include the Rex, Wilmslow's uniquely restored art deco cinema, and the Hepplestone fine art gallery.

In addition to the Easter eggs, there are also 8 hidden bunnies scattered around town. Children will be asked to tick off each bunny they find, located at various spots such as Unico Lounge, Wood Fire Smoke and Caramello.
Once the trail is completed, submit entries into the post box situated at Waitrose on Church Street, for a chance to win a delicious Easter hamper filled with treats and goodies. All correct entries will be put into a prize draw, and the competition will close on 30th April 2025 with the winners announced on social media?
"The Wilmslow's Way Better Easter Trail is the perfect way for families to get outside and enjoy Wilmslow this Easter, it's a fun adventure for all ages." said Lisa Russett, Wilmslow BID manager. "We've partnered with local businesses to bring some extra excitement to the town, and we hope the trail brings smiles to the faces of those who are taking part.
"It's a fantastic way for children to explore the town while having fun with their families. While they are in Wilmslow, families can do a bit of Easter shopping and sample some of the best Easter food and drink we have to offer."
Just some of the Easter offers from local businesses are included below:
- Wood Fire Smoke is bringing back its delicious mini egg pizza desserts alongside a 'kids eat free' offer for the entire Easter holidays with every full paying adult meal.
- Buzzy Bee Bakery has an impressive line-up of filled Easter eggs including Biscoff cookie dough, Chocolate rice Krispie and vanilla and jam Funfetti.
- While sushi bar Unagi has a range of tempting Easter specials including Surf n Turf rolls and vanilla, ginger and lemongrass infused crème brulee.
Wilmslow's Way Better Easter trail runs from 5th – 22nd April 2025 the Prize Draw closes on 30th April 2025 and the winner will be contacted by email and announced on the Wilmslow's Way Better social channels.
