Royal London submits plans for new office development

Plans have been submitted for a new office development at the former Royal London campus east of Alderley Road in Wilmslow.

Royal London were granted outline planning approval for the office element of their masterplan in February 2020 and they are now seeking approval for the layout, landscaping appearance and scale for an office development.

The proposed site masterplan includes a series of four office buildings located in the south eastern end of the site which three storeys (ground plus two upper floors).

The site plan has been organised to create a new central access road which connects into the new roundabout accessed from Alderley Road which was consented in detail at the outline planning stage of the project. The new access road will connect into the residential parcel of land to the north of the application site which is subject of an outline planning consent and also a current reserved matters application.

A total of 1100 car parking spaces are provided included 22 disabled and 55 EV charging spaces incld 6 disabled. The undercroft provides 335 of the total 1100 car parking spaces accessed from the lowest point on the site.
