Good old Stamford Road. Years ago, of course, the building at the end was The Regal Ballroom, and what a dancing venue on a Saturday night. T’was where I met my future Wife, so the lovely photo has brought back many happy memories.

That low-roofed building between the houses used to be the catholic church. Many's the Sunday morning as a lad I've been unwillingly dragged to spend an hour of utter boredom in there!
