Concert will go ahead but with restricted numbers

In the light of the Prime Minister's announcement on Monday, 14th June, arrangements have been confirmed for the forthcoming concert at Alderley Edge Methodist Church.

The Musical Celebration by students from Chetham's School of Music will go ahead as planned on Wednesday 23rd June at 2pm. However, as social distancing is still in place, numbers will be restricted and booking is essential.

The recital will feature three students from Chetham's School of Music and will last for approximately 45 minutes. Following the performance tea, coffee and cake will be served.

Jean Walker said said "Whilst we are disappointed that we cannot open the church to full capacity, we are very much looking forward to this first step in providing live music in the church."
