The five GP surgeries that make up CHAW Primary Care Network (Chelford, Handforth, Alderley Edge and Wilmslow) are well on their way to completing second vaccination doses for the higher risk populations (Priority groups 1 to 9).
Working together they have now delivered over 20,000 doses of vaccines since the beginning of the year.
In total local patients have received 20,631 jabs so far, 7,084 of which have been second doses.
Last week CHAW PCN received 1400 doses of the Astra Zeneca vaccine.
Dr Amar Ahmed, Partner at Wilmslow Health Centre, said "We will be concentrating on delivering second dose vaccinations for all of cohorts 1 to 9.
"We are about halfway through delivering the second doses to people who have had their first doses with us."
This coming week they are expecting 1,400 doses of the Astra Zeneca vaccine and about 90 doses of the Pfizer one to be delivered.
Dr Amar Ahmed has put together a timelapse video of CHAW PCN's Covid Vaccination Clinics entitled Get your Covid Jab when it's your turn. Don't be late!
He added "It encourages people to return for their 2nd jab as some reluctance is being shown by some I'm afraid.
"If you are 50 years of age or younger, please dial 119 to book your vaccination at a nearby Mass Vaccination Centre or visit this link.) When your invitation comes don't be late!
Les Dennis also posted a video after having his second jab saying ""I know I might get some negativity for this but I feel strongly that vaccination is important. Had my second jab today. @WilmslowHealth amazing work from our wonderful NHS. Thank you for keeping us safe."
