Officers from Macclesfield Local Policing Unit arrested a 24-year-old woman at her home in Alderley Edge at 7am on Monday 19 April, on suspicion of supplying of class A & B drugs.
The woman has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
The arrest is part of an ongoing wider investigation in relation to the supply of illegal drugs in the Alderley Edge area.
On Tuesday, 13th April, a 26-year-old man was charged with a class A drug dealing offence after an officer stopped and searched a car in Heyes Lane.
Officers also conducted a stop search of a 42-year-old man on Davey Lane on Monday 12th April. A small quantity of what is believed to be cocaine was found, the man voluntarily attended for questioning and enquiries are ongoing.
