Alderley Edge Methodist Church is looking forward to hearing performances by five students from Chetham's School of Music for their final lunchtime concert of 2019.
Accompanied on the piano by Elena Nalimova, the recital on Wednesday, 20th November, begins with a trumpet solo by Charlotte Nuta. This will be followed by Flo Clarke on the clarinet, and then Cubby Howard on cello. Erin Jones will perform 4 soprano solos and the concert will be concluded by Bertram Nicholson on violin.
Jean Walker said "The students, aged between 15 and 18, have come from all parts of the country to study at "Chets" and we are privileged to enjoy performances of a remarkably high standard.
Admission is by programme, £6 available on the door.
Light lunches are served from 12 noon and the recital begins at 1pm, lasting approximately 45 minutes.
Proceeds from the concert will be donated to Francis House Childrens Hospice.
The 2019-20 season will resume on 15th January with a piano recital by Rose McLachlan.
