The final lunchtime concert of the current series at Alderley Edge Methodist Church takes place on Wednesday, 17th June, and will feature a recital by four students from Chetham's School of Music.
The students range in age from 13 to 17 years and will be accompanied by Hilary Suckling.
The programme is as follows:
Poulenc: Sonata for clarinet and piano, performed by Oliver Burrow / clarinet
Paganini: La Campanella, performed by Miranda Bailey-Sharam / viola
Francesca Cull / cello, will perform:
Faure: Élegié, Op. 24
Faure: Romance, Op. 69
Faure: Papillon, Op. 77
Elizaveta Saul / violin, will perform:
Ravel: Violin Sonata No. 2 in G major.
The performance commences at 1pm and will last approximately 45 minutes. Admission is by programme at the door, priced £4.00.
Light lunches, charged separately, are available from 12 noon.
