Peaks and Plans Housing Trust has been granted planning permission to demolish two sets of garages in Alderley Edge and replace them with new homes.
The scheme involves the demolition of 32 garages on land to the north of Beech Road. These will be replaced with 4 homes, 3 of which will be two bedroomed and one will be three bedroomed.
Additionally 16 garages located on the other side of Beech Road will be demolished and replaced with 2 two bedroomed bungalows.
The new homes will be let for affordable rent and funding for the scheme will be secured via the Homes and Communities Agency with support from Cheshire East Housing Strategy Department.
